Send allows users of the Infinex Platform to transfer some amount or the entirety of a specific token previously deposited to an address on the same chain. It also introduces the option to send tokens to an address other than their initially set recovery address.
Steps to Send Funds
1. In your Infinex account, select Vault or Wallet, then click Send.
2. If your total account balance is $1,000 or more, complete the email verification process. You’ll be prompted to add a verified email if you haven’t already.
3. Set up Two-Factor Authentication (TOTP) if you haven’t done so already.
4. Select or paste the address you wish to send to.
5. Select the token you would like to send.
6. Enter the quantity of the token you wish to send.
7. Click Review, confirm the details, and click Confirm Send. If your account balance is over $1,000, you'll need to complete a TOTP to confirm the transaction.
8. The Send transaction will be initiated and completed.
Send FAQs
Send FAQs
How does Send work?
Send lets you transfer tokens held in your Infinex account to another address on the same network. You can now also send to addresses other than your recovery address. Supported assets and networks only.
Is email verification required to use Send?
If your balance is under $1,000, email is optional, you can use Send without verifying an email. If your balance is $1,000 or more, a verified email is required to use Send.
Why do I need to verify my email and add two-factor authentication for Send?
For accounts with balances over $1,000, both email verification and TOTP are required to protect your funds. Email also enables you to receive important notifications about your transactions and account changes.
Do I need to pay a fee to use Send?
In most cases, Infinex covers network costs associated with sending tokens. However, a network fee of $0.30 USD may apply on Solana, where Patron holders are fully exempt from this. Infinex will cover the cost of all SOL fees, unless you are not a Patron holder and if you are sending on Solana to a recipient address that has never held a token on Solana before. The network cost will be quoted in the interface before a send is confirmed.
Once I add an email to my account, can I change it?
Yes. You can change your verified email through settings.
Are there any limits to Send?
As Infinex covers your Send transfer fees, you can currently use Send 10 times on each supported network. There is no maximum limit to the amount you can transfer through Send, however, there is a $1 minimum per transaction.
Does Send support cross chain withdrawal?
No, users will need to send funds on the same chain the funds are currently on.
Can I use Send to transfer funds to Smart Contracts?
Yes. In order to use Send to transfer funds to Smart Contracts, enter the Smart Contract address and follow the flow provided. Ensure the smart contracts are deployed on the chain you are sending funds on.
Can I transfer NFTs with Send?

Why do I need to enter a TOTP to confirm my transaction?
If you have an account balance of >$1000 and you are attempting to Send funds to an address other than your recovery address, you are required to enter a TOTP. This is in the interest of the security of your funds and your Infinex account.
