FAQS

What is the Authenticator App?

An authenticator app such as Authy or 1Password is an application that generates time-based one-time passwords (TOTPs). These passwords are used for 2FA and help protect your accounts by adding an additional security layer.

How do Authenticator Apps work?

An authenticator app provides a single use code that expires over time used to secure your account against unauthorised access. Authenticator apps work offline, and are more secure than SMS as they cannot be intercepted.
