All transactions on the blockchain involve a network cost, which are known as gas fees. While Infinex continues to subsidies gas fees for users, a Gas Offset Account owned by the council will charge fees from user's swapping and bridging (as part of Swidge) actions to help offset these costs. Sending assets on Infinex remains completely free. All fees charged on Infinex are allocated to the Gas Offset Account, and remain in the Infinex ecosystem.
