Swap FAQ

Do I have to pay a gas fee to complete a swap?

Currently, Infinex covers the gas fee to complete a swap. Curve, however, charges a small fee depending on the pool, and users completing a swap are subject to standard slippage.

What is slippage?

Slippage is a number figure that represents the potential discrepancy between the expected amount of tokens you swap for and the actual amount of tokens you receive. This is set by the user, and ensures that the executed swap provides tokens within the slippage range. Slippage occurs due to market volatility, and is present on every swap platform. Slippage can be both positive and negative, meaning that you can receive more or less tokens than expected.

What is the default slippage on Infinex? How can I change it?

By default, Infinex sets the slippage on a swap to 0.10%. You can edit this by clicking on the cogwheel on the bottom right of the screen. When changing your slippage, make sure you are aware of the risks present.

What tokens and networks are currently supported for swaps on Infinex?

Infinex currently supports swaps between USDC and USDe on the Ethereum and Arbitrum networks.

Are there any limits on swapping on Infinex?

As Infinex covers your swap fees, there are three daily swaps provided on Ethereum network and ten daily swaps provided on Arbitrum network.

My issue does not fall into the category of the ones listed above. What should I do?
