Finding Your Transactions On-Chain

A guide to finding your transaction on-chain

Updated over a week ago

What are Block Explorers?

A Block Explorer is a public tool that allows anyone to view blockchain data, including:

  • Wallet addresses

  • Transaction details

  • Block confirmations

  • Network fees and timestamps

Each blockchain (e.g., Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Solana) has its own dedicated explorer.

Common examples:

Ethereum: Etherscan.io

BNB Smart Chain: BscScan.com

Solscan: Solscan.io

Arbitrum: Arbiscan.io

If you use multiple blockchains, switching between explorers can be time-consuming. Cross-chain explorers aggregate data across several networks, giving you a single, unified view.

Popular cross-chain explorers include:

Blockscan: Blockscan.com

Zerion: Zerion.io

How to Use Block Explorers?

You can use a block explorer to view your transaction details or full wallet activity on-chain.

There are two main ways to search.

Using Transaction Hash

  1. Find your Transaction

    • Go to your Activity tab and open the transaction you want to verify

  2. Open a block explorer

    • Use the explorer that matches the blockchain network your transaction was made on.

  3. Paste the TxID into the search bar at the top of the explorer.

    • On Infinex, all transactions will have a link to appropriate explorer.

  4. View your transaction details, including:

    • Sender and recipient addresses

    • Transaction amount

    • Token or asset transferred

    • Network fee (gas)

    • Timestamp and confirmation count

    • Current status (Pending / Success / Failed)

This method is best for confirming whether a specific transaction has been completed successfully.

Using Wallet Address

If you want to see the full transaction history for your wallet:

  1. Copy your wallet address from Infinex.

  2. Open the appropriate block explorer for the blockchain your wallet is on or use a cross chain block explorer.

  3. Paste your wallet address into the explorer’s search bar.

  4. View all wallet activity, including:

    • Incoming and outgoing transactions

    • Token and NFT transfers

    • Smart contract interactions

    • Current token balances

Using your wallet address is ideal for tracking multiple transactions, checking incoming funds, or verifying overall wallet activity.
