Here's How to Understand Where Your Funds Are On-Chain

Updated this week

If you've Swidged, or deposited funds to your Infinex account and want to confirm if they've arrived here's a step by step guide.

Step 1: Check Your Infinex Account

  1. Log in to your Infinex account & navigate to the "Portfolio" section

  2. Look for your asset

  3. Check your hidden assets at https://app.infinex.xyz/settings/preferences/hide-assets. Infinex sometimes hides smaller balances or certain tokens to keep your portfolio clean, they're still safe in your Infinex Account.

If the funds are visible and the amount is correct you're all set. If they're missing or the amount looks wrong, don't worry - move to step 2.

Step 2: Check What Happened On-Chain

Blockchain transfers leave a permanent record, so we can trace exactly what happened with your transaction. Here's how to investigate:

  1. Locate your transaction hash (TXID). Your wallet or the platform you used to send funds will show this somewhere in the transaction details

  2. Visit a blockchain explorer:

    1. For Ethereum, go to etherscan.io

    2. For Optimism, use optimistic.etherscan.io

    3. For Base, use basescan.org

    4. For Solana, use https://solscan.io/

    5. Or use any relevant explorer for the chain you used.

  3. Paste the TXID into the search bar on the explorer.

  4. Check the following:

    1. Status: It should say “Success.”

    2. To Address: Make sure it matches the correct Infinex deposit address.

    3. Confirmations: There should be a sufficient number of confirmations for the network (usually 12+ is a good sign).

Step 3: Still Not Seeing Your Funds?

Sometimes the blockchain shows a successful transfer to the correct address, but your Infinex balance hasn't updated yet. Here's what to do.

  • Wait 5 - 10 minutes - this usually resolves itself, especially during busy network periods

  • Double-check you used the correct deposit address and chain.

  • Ensure the token is supported by Infinex.

  • Contact Infinex Support if you're still experiencing issues
